About NJ Girl Kitchen

I'm a mother, wife, business owner...when I'm not in my kitchen I'm in my office with clients, running a business, busy with my 17 year old son, and spending time with friends and family.  I love to cook! (Obviously!) Cooking allows me to do something very different than the work in my business so it satisfies the need for creativity.  I also love to travel, learn new things, and spend a fair amount of time scrapbooking.   

I have a rich appreciation for my Italian heritage and the Latino culture from my husband's family. The combination of all the cooking experience, coupled with my travels to different countries and places have given me a wide view of many cooking styles.

I have always had a passion for cooking and baking. It came from my family.  Keeping the traditions that were instilled from my grandmother of all the Italian dishes that she and my parents cooked through my life was important.   

I discovered many other cultures in my travel and dining adventures and always brought them home to my kitchen. I shared my passion with family and friends but in my heart it was not enough. 

I would look at cooking bloggers, food influencers and chefs that inspired me to share my food.  I thought that I should start my own blog to let you into my kitchen. So... Here I am!
